What materials are used to make the PEP system?

The system features posts and poles made from glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) and adjustable aluminium clamps.

Why is GRP a better material than steel?

GRP is non-conductive, corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and offers high tensile and impact strength, making it ideal for electrified rail environments.

Does the system require bonding in electrified rail environments?

No, the non-conductive properties of GRP eliminate the need for bonding.

How easy is the system to install?

The PEP system is quick and easy to install using adjustable clamps and can be repositioned with minimal effort.

Is the system portable?

Yes, its lightweight design makes it easy to transport and handle on site.

What kind of maintenance is required?

Minimal maintenance is needed due to the corrosion-resistant properties of GRP.

What applications is the PEP system suitable for?

The system is ideal for platform maintenance, construction works, and rail safety compliance in electrified and non-electrified environments.

What parts are used to make the PEP system?

The system features GRP posts and poles, aluminium clamps, and double-sided kickboards, all ranging from 1.5–5kg for hand portability.
