FAQs

What are aluminium trackway panels used for?

Our aluminium trackway panels provide load-bearing temporary access roads, allowing heavy vehicles and pedestrians to safely navigate all ground conditions from soft, wet terrain to steep inclines.

What weight can the Aluminium panels support?

Our panels can withstand a 250-tonne point load and a 1000-tonne gross train weight over ground with 2% CBR (all dependant on ground conditions), making them suitable for the heaviest road-going vehicles and plant machinery.

Are the panels safe for pedestrian use?

Yes. Each panel has a dual-sided design - a low-profile, pedestrian-friendly topside for smooth walking surfaces, and a corrugated underside for extra grip, ensuring maximum traction and safety.

Can the panels be configured for different site layouts?

Absolutely, the panels’ scalable design allows for flexible configurations to suit your site's layout, load-bearing requirements, and access needs. Combined with our Steerable Aluminium Panels, they can be configured to navigate around bends up to 30°.

Are the panels environmentally friendly?

Unlike plastic panels that need to be discarded when damaged, our aluminium panels are 100% recyclable and feature a repairable design. This makes them more sustainable and cost-effective in the long run. Compared to aggregate roads, which require digging, hard-coring, and reinstating, our panels are quicker to install, reusable, and require no extensive groundwork.
